I originally bought the hitch harness from another company and was very disappointed. I installed the hitch holder for 3” shank hitch and there was a huge night and day difference. I tested the hitch holder with the heavy B&W all the way from Idaho to Alaska via the rough roads of the Alaskan Highway. The hitch didn’t rattle and everything stayed in place. I often travel thousands of miles without a trailer before hitching up and it’s great to have a way to stow my hitch out of site. Thank you hitch holder for saving me from your horrible competitor.
I chose to not get a tool box on the new truck because the last one just seemed to collect stuff. Even with a tool box, most of the time the hitch was rolling around in the bed anyways. This gives my hitch a place to go and looks like a factory option.
To start, this product is built rock solid. Easy to install with the box link plate on my F-150. Four screws and you are done. Impressed that everything clears even with a tri-ball B&W Tow and Stow hitch. Looks great in the bed of the truck and very custom when the tailgate is down. I will be recommending this to everyone I know with a truck. Great product!
Install easy and perfect fit. Only complaint i have is I can’t use a locking pin to hold hitch in , not sure if they make a pin that lock is in the side I haven’t looked into it yet.
It’s simple and nothing fancy but it works great! But it does interfere with the Ford factory bed tie down location but easy enough to work around. The hitch is a bulletproof 6in heavy duty with 2.5 shank, only thing is it has to be mounted with the rise towards the top of the bed not the bottom it looks a bit awkward but works fine.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Really impressed with the Hitch Holder. It keeps my Weigh Safe trailer hitch securely mounted, organized, and up off the bed of the truck when I’m not using it. The bracket feels solid, installation was clean, and it’s a great way to keep an expensive hitch from sliding around or taking up floor space.
Simple product, great design, and exactly what I needed. Definitely recommend Hitch Holder to anyone who tows regularly.
Its very nice and convenient. It tucks away nicely but I really wish you could use a locking hitch pins with it. You can't run a pin in from the back and you can't fit the locking half and barrel key in the back. Unless of coarse you sell on that works with it.
I didn't like throwing my hitch on the floor behind the seat. It has an awkward shape and would flop around. If I put it in my garage I would inevitably need it if I didn't have it. This is a great way to store the hitch out of the way. I love the design that utilizes the existing screw holes for mounting.
When i bought my hitcholder, I did so knowing it was a little risky. Yes, I’d measured three times but you know what it’s like some times.
Anyway, it worked out great. I have a Gen-Y hitch. With a 7.5” drop, with 2.5” hitch. While the hitch pins do not line up perfectly, they are close enough to use my standard pin (I do need to order the hitchholder pin at some point as this was too snug and was a challenge to get through.
But, I do love how I now have my very expensive hitch with me all the time without adding about 14” of extra rear clearance needed everywhere I go.
Thank you, I had been looking for a solution for a long time and a chance encounter on Facebook saved me!
2026 Ford F150 Tremor.
Honestly, this is the best accessory I didn’t know I needed. Usually I threw my hitch in the garage when I was not towing one of my own trailers. More than once I needed to help someone, or I made a purchase that I needed my hitch that was at home.
I didn’t like to throw my hitch under my backseat, took up to much room and it rattled, and I didn’t want it just laying in the bed.
This was the perfect solution.
Awesome product. I have a Retrax bed cover on a 2024 F350 long box. Both the fifth wheel and a 2.5” bulletproof hitch(4” drop) fit at the cab side of the box against the Retrax canister. Finally a solution to keep these out of the cab and always have them with me.
Well built, works as advertised. Shipped in a timely manner. Looks good in the bed of the truck. Nice to get the hitch out from under the back seat. Thanks. Dave.
I messed up and didn’t measure my bulletproof hitch. It’s an 8” drop so it wouldn’t work with the hitch holder as advertised, but there’s enough clearance to put the hitch in upside down and still have the drop below the bed rail. Access isn’t as easy from the ground, but it works just the same and keeps my hitch from sliding all over the bed. Great product!
The holder is great! I decided with my new truck and hitch, I didn’t want it in my receiver full time, or out in the weather. Once my canopy arrives I’ll permanently store my hitch in the holder. For reference my hitch is a 2.5” shank B&W with a 7” drop and it fits.
I am very happy with my Hitchholder for my 2026 Ford F350. It installed very easily to the box link mount in the bed. It worked with the factory spray in bed liner with no issues and also worked with the box link ratchet straps I had in the bed of my truck. It makes for a very convenient place to store my B&W Tow & Stow hitch when not in use. Now I don't worry about hitting the hitch with my shins or dragging it on the ground when on uneven terrain when the hitch is not in use.
Quick shipping, easy install, and does exactly what it’s supposed to.
My bulletproof hitch is big, heavy, and when not in the hitch, sliding around in the bed. This mount is perfect. And I still have access to the generator and plugs!
2026 Ford F250 8’ box
Great product! Tolerance was a bit tight between my rhino liner and 6” drop. Just over 1/8th of an inch. I could drive pin in but couldn’t get it back out by hand. I will just have to use flipping my hitch up side down. See photo I attached.. Seems to be ok this way.
