Our Story - Three Friends & Frustration

As we sat around shootin’ the breeze, talkin’ about life and all its little annoyances, we landed on one universal truth:

Storing a trailer hitch just plain sucks.

When it comes down to it, you’ve really only got three options—and let’s be honest, they all suck in their own special way:

  1. Leave it in the receiver – but then it gets all crusty, rusty, and oxidized like it’s been to war and back. Looks awful.
  2. Toss it in the bed – sure, until it starts sliding around like a hockey puck, bangin' into your truck bed, scratchin' it up. (Some guys don’t care, but we work hard for our trucks—and we take care of them like family.)
  3. Throw it somewhere in the cab – under the seat, in the passenger footwell... wherever. Congrats, now your clean interior smells like rust and regret.. Looks like it too.

Boom! That’s where Hitcholder™ was born, right?

Wrong.

Ha. We got sidetracked talking about all the other stuff in life that makes zero sense.

  • Like why “I’m fine” means things absolutely are NOT fine…
  • Or why “Go ahead and buy it” feels like a trap…
  • Or how “assembly required” really means “rethink your whole life.”

Ya know, that type of stuff.

Then it hit us.

We were looking at that one spot every truck bed has—right in front of or behind the fender wells. You know it. That awkward space that holds absolutely nothing useful. It’s just sitting there… going to waste.

The "AH-HA" moment (cue dramatic music)

We all locked eyes and said: That space was meant to store our hitch. It just needed a proper holder.

Boom— The idea of Hitcholder™ was conceived.

We're simple guys, really. We like when things have a place.  A designated "that goes there" spot. We especially love when something just makes sense, is made in the USA and well thought-out.

We believe your hitch should always stay with your truck—and you should always be ready to tow, wherever the road takes you.

The hitch will be there when you need it and there when you don't.

Thank you for taking time to read our story. We are unbelievably grateful for your interest in our creation that we feel makes truck ownership that much better.
